I have often been asked, "What is it like to win a medal at a World Championship level?" Fortunately, the GB Women have won medals at every World Championships and European Championships since 1998.

But what is it that makes this team so special?

Every team sat on the start line of a Major Final of a Championships will be as fit and as technically good as the one next to them. A race is won by paying attention to the smallest of detail and by the team who are willing to take more pain than the team next to them. The medalists are those teams which are willing to fight to the end. Obviously we have one of the best coaches in the World - "Griff" whose attention to detail is second to none.
